The morning in detail
Spend a morning with our Cellar Master and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of rum by watching all the stages of its production. You will discover how, with both passion and talent, we produce our extraordinary rums from the harvest of our organic cane field at the Habitation du Simon, the pressing process in our traditional mill, through the distillation in our copper still ‘La Belle Aline’ and the ageing period in the cellar.
Following a refreshing break in the shady park facing the islets of Le François, the tour will continue, and you will learn about tasting methods and working with different types of barrels. This workshop will be followed by a tasting of the extraordinary rums range and possibly by a few surprises…
If you so wish, you may purchase the bottles or decanters that seduced you during the tasting at the end of this beautiful journey.
